Go Hot Shots! Kylie started basketball at the beginning of the year and has just loved every minute of it. Her team name is the Hot Shots. It is a group of about nine first grade girls. All but one attend her elementary school. They never won a game, but you would never know that. They played so hard and really tried to score. They were the only first grade team in the league. All of the other teams were second graders. Jas and I are so proud of Ky. She really improved as the season went on. I think Jason is going to go into a depression, now that the season is drawing to a close. LOL! He really loved sharing this with Ky. He practiced with her every minute that he could. I think he loved that she has finally started playing a team sport. We are sending her to a great basketball camp this summer. I am so glad that we took a leap out of our comfort zone and allowed her to play. (Neither one of us played b-ball and so we were apprehensive to say the least!) We had an awesome time and look forward to next season.
Waiting for a pass
Ready to go!
Marls insisted that I needed to take her picture with a ball, but tells us that she is NOT going to play basketball, but be a cheerleader when she grows up! LOL! Stinker!
I pray that all of you are having a blessed week!
