The Jones' Halloween Costumes: Past and Present

I thought it would be fun to do a Halloween costume post. Jas and I used to have some fun costume parties before we had kids. We were Austin Powers and Felicity Shagwell (picture above), Lion and Lion Tamer, and a Flapper and Gangster. We had a blast! I think we have had the most fun dressing our girlies!. I cannot believe how much they have changed. Time flies when your having fun!

Red Raider Pirate Princesses!

Arrrrrrrrr Matey! This year, the girls and I decided that they should be Texas Tech Pirate Princesses. They even had pink swords! They were so excited to get to wear hoop earrings. (So Funny!)

We ventured out to our second annual Honey Elementary Fall Festival. We ate yummy food, played games, bid on prizes, and saw lots of fun friends. Kylie actually won a prize that she had bid on. I'm glad that one of us is lucky!!!! It was a great night. I cannot believe that October is almost over. Christmas is getting closer and closer. I better get to Christmas shopping! I hope all of you are having fabulous fall fun! I can't wait to see all of your fun costumes!

Bodyworks brought all of these cool slides and bungee bouncers. The girls thought they looked cool, but weren't about to try them. Kylie told us, " You know I'm afraid of heights!"

Finally.....Kylie's Sweet Dreams Sleepover!

Whew! We did it! Kylie finally got to have her "sweet dreams" sleepover party. The girls had so much fun! They ate pizza, made a craft, watched movies, danced, and just had a blast! Lar gave me some great ideas to use for the party. She is the sleepover expert. She told me to make each girl a makeup bag. Walmart had clear bags for less than $2.00. I then went to dollar tree and found nail polish, lip gloss, and hand sanitizer. I personalized all of the bags and hand sanitizer bottles with the girls names. She also told me the idea of having them decorate the first letter of their names for a craft. I posted several pictures of the girls holding their letters. I thought they turned out super cute! Thank you for all of your ideas, my friend!

I do have to give a "shout out" to Jason and his brother, J. They were my right hand men throughout the whole party. Thanks, Guys! Ya'll really stepped up to the plate! Oh! My sweet niece, Bekah, was a tremendous help with the craft. Thanks, sweet Bekah!!!

I decorated with stars and balloons. I thought it was simple yet so girlie. Kylie told me that this was her favorite party of all time. I am so glad that she enjoyed it. I hope all of you enjoy the pics below. Warning: There is a bunch!!!!!

J gave us the BRILLIANT idea of having the girls eat on painters plastic. It worked awesome. Was cheap and easy to clean up!

Super cute!!!!

Happy Birthday Jason and Kylie!

On October 9 2002, Kylie Michelle Jones was born. She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces, and was 21 inches long. She waited to be born on her daddy's birthday. When she was born, Jason proclaimed, "This is the best birthday present I will ever receive!" On October 9, 1973 Jason Miciah Jones was born.

Kylie- You are such a blessing to us. You are sweet, caring, loving, and beautiful inside and out. I cannot wait to celebrate with you next week at your sleepover!

Jason- You are such an awesome dad and husband. Happy Birthday to both of my sweet loves! I think it is so awesome that you share the same birthday! Here are a few pics of both of them on their birthdays:

H1N1 has hit the Jones Fam!

Hey Guys! I just wanted to do a quick post to say that Kylie has the flu. :( She started running fever about an hour after I picked her up from school. I took her to one of those after hours clinics and they did a flu test. It came back positive. Will you all keep us in your prayers? They put her on Tamiflu and a strong antibiotic. I'm just praying that she does not have a severe case and recovers quickly. She is not supposed to go back to school until Monday. Oh, and we had to move her Birthday sleepover to next Friday. :( I have one disappointed almost 7 year old on my hands!

Rock Star Bash and Royal Gala... Right up our alley!

Mia Montana's Rock Star Bash!

Marls and the Birthday girl, Mia

Marleigh was such a busy girl this weekend. She attended some pretty fabulous birthday parties. The first was for her sweet friend, Mia. She had a fun backyard Hannah Montana themed festival. There was an adorable stage, games, face painting, and hay ride. She had such an awesome time! Thanks, Mia!!

Princess Brantley's Royal Gala:

Marls and Princess Brantley

Oh My Goodness! This was the cutest party, ever! She had a royal gala fit for a princess. Prince Charming and Cinderella made an appearance. Marleigh's face was priceless when she saw Cinderella. She just stared in amazement. Cinderella sang, told her story, painted faces, and took pictures. Every little girls dream. I posted a small video at the bottom of Cinderella singing. So precious! Thanks for having us, Brantley. We loved it!

Brantley was proclaimed princess for the day! Awesome!!

Look who is turning 7 on Friday!
I can't believe that Kylie is turning 7. What a blessing she is! We are having a sweet dreams sleepover party. She is so excited! I will definitely have more to come on that. I hope all of you had a great weekend. We sure did!

Here is the video of Cinderella singing. Priceless! The couple who do these parties have a website. It is www.myenchantedparty.com. They did a great job, and I think that Sleeping Beauty may be making an appearance at Marleigh's party this year! (Remember to pause the music in the sidebar. :)
