Kylie's 100th Day of Kindergarten!

Just a short post to say how proud I am of Kylie. I cannot believe she has already been in kindergarten for 100 days. She has done so well. Her teacher, Mrs. Holder, had the class decorate the number 100 for their bulletin boards. Ky decided to glue 100 sparkly rhinestones to her project. (She is so my child!) I also wanted to post a pic of her first day. Time just flies by so fast. (Especially, when you have kids!) We love you Ky!

I hope everyone is doing well. I pray that you all have a safe and relaxing weekend!

Winter Wonderland!

Pic of the plane from Tyco!

We woke up this morning to fog, sleet and icy streets. Jason works at Tyco Fire Products which is very close to the Lubbock airport. A Fedex jet had crashed on one of the runways. The pilots were not hurt, Praise the Lord!! Needless to say, everyone at Tyco was snapping pics of the scene. Lubbock always gets on the news for the strangest things!

Anyhoo, We took Kylie to school, and Marleigh and I slid on over to LakeRidge. We had a great day at school. After school, the girls were desperate to go outside and play in the "snow." Jason said "that's not snow, that's sleet!" Whatever it was, the girls loved it!

I wanted to thank each of you for your sweet messages and prayers! We felt them. John and Lora made it home safely from Arkansas. I feel so blessed to have such awesome prayer warriors.

I hope you guys have a great rest of your week! Stay Warm!!!

The girls love to pose!

My Grandfather

I just wanted to do a post today to ask for prayers. My Grandfather, Guy, suffered a stroke about two weeks ago and after a short stay in the hospital, passed away on Wednesday. My brother and sister-in-law traveled for the funeral. It has been a hard week for me. My grandfather was a good man who always took care of his family. I have some wonderful memories of him taking my brother and I on so many awesome trips to the lake. He loved to fish and in the later years of his life, lived near a lake. Please just keep John and I in your prayers. It is always so hard to lose a loved one, even though you know they are with Jesus.

I love Ephesians 3:20. "God is able to do immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine." Even with the hard week we have just had, I know that God will hold us up during this time. He has already given me such a peace.

I pray all of you have a blessed week.

Party! Party! Party!

Whew! What a Saturday! We attended three birthday parties today. The first was our great friend, Chloe. Her party was at 50th Street Caboose. The girls played all kinds of games and ate yummy food. They didn't want to leave! The second party was for my niece, Lacey. She had her party at Jump-N-Fun. The girls played games and bounced on the bouncers. Marleigh was a little intimidated by the big slide bouncer at first, but wanted to keep up with Ky and Lacey. She finally tried it. I was proud of her. The third party was for Marleigh's friend, Kyler. Kyler and Marleigh are in the same C.D.O. class. They had an awesome party at their house. The girls came home with these cute balloon creations.

We had a great day. Marleigh did not even have a nap. (For the first time in her life!!) Can you believe it! She was sound asleep by 8:01. I want to thank everyone at all of the parties for inviting us. The girls love to Party!!!

I wanted to end my post to ask you all to keep praying for the Larson's. They celebrated Coleman's life today. I hope all of you have a wonderful and blessed week!!

Ky Ky teaching Marls how to play. What a sweet sister!

Marls is thinking about this! Should I go up?

She finally makes it to the top!

Prayers for the Larson's

Sweet Coleman!

I just wanted to do a post tonight to ask all of you to pray. I don't know this family personally, but I have grown to love them by reading their carepage. Coleman earned his wings last night and went to be with the Lord.

I know that most of you don't know them, but would you please pray for Peggy (his mom), Scott (his dad), and Caden ( his twin brother).  If you would like to leave this precious family a message you can go to www.carepages.com and his cp is colemanscott.
