Thanksgiving Blessings!

Nonna and her boys!!

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving. Nonna and Uncle J. traveled from Oklahoma to visit us. Bekah was not able to make it, but we sure do miss and love her. Nonna and I cooked up a storm on Thursday morning. We made pies, cakes, and salads. Everything turned out great. We ventured out that evening to my mom and dad's house. My brother and his fam came. We ate and then played an exciting game of Cranium. What a wonderful evening. We have had some ups and downs this year, but the Lord has blessed us in so many ways. I thank you, Lord, for blessing us with our awesome family and friends!!!

Fancy Marleigh's Birthday Party!

Happy Birthday Marleigh! It was 5:30 p.m. on November 17th when Marleigh Kay Jones was born. I cannot believe it has already been 3 years since that awesome day. She was 9 pounds 7 ounces of sweet girl! We love her so much and we are excited to see her grow.

We had her party on Saturday at Ready-Set-Go. She loves Fancy Nancy books and so we had a Fancy Marleigh party. Twenty Nine of her friends came to celebrate. We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and family. I asked her what her favorite part was and she told me, " playing with my friends!" Thank you to everyone who came and to all of you that helped me wrangle up 29 kids! I will post a slide show with all of the party pics when I figure out how!

I received a phone call tonight from my brother-in-law. He is preparing to come to town on Friday to watch the Tech-ou game. ( Did'nt want to capitalize ou!) He says he is going to sport his ou gear. Jason and I are afraid for his safety. We told him he has to leave it at home! I told him that I know several stores that we can find Tech gear! If you are a Tech fan out there, will you please leave my brother-in-law (J.) a message?

I hope all of you have a wonderful week.

TECH beats OSU 56-20!

We have had another busy week and weekend. The highlight was on Saturday evening when our beloved Red Raiders beat OSU!! Awesome game, guys!!! My brother-in-law was not able to make it down. We talked several times during the game. He did finally admit to me that he sees why Tech is number two in the country. Wow! That's all I need to hear. We will turn him into a Red Raider, yet! We are looking forward to the Tech-OU game. It should be a good one!

Our friend, Merideth, joined us for the game. Marleigh and Merideth attend the same C.D.O. We have so enjoyed getting to know our friends, the Weddles. The girls played barbies, princesses, and occasionally cheered for Tech. At one point, Kylie had the girls dressed in swimsuits. Too cute!

I am so excited to tell you all that Jason is going to be an official Red Raider in the spring. We are going to transfer him tomorrow. I look forward to seeing him in his red and black cap and gown. How awesome will that be!! Keep us in your prayers. I am sure his schedule will be even more busy than usual. I will post some pics of Jas at Tech. I am so proud of him!

I will be preparing for Marleigh's birthday, this week. I cannot believe she is going to be 3. Time flies by so fast! Wish me luck!!

Praying that all of you have an awesome and blessed week!

Texas Tech Beats Texas!!!!

WOW! What an awesome game that was! Jason just told me that Tech has moved up to # 2 in the BCS poll! GO RAIDERS! I wanted to be really cool and post the video of the game winning touchdown. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to put a you-tube video on my blog. I am not very computer savvy, so if anyone knows how to post a you-tube video, let me know!

Laurie has posted some hilarious pics of me jumping up and down in excitement. Go check out her blog! We had a great time. We were screaming so loud I think her neighbors could hear us down the street. You've got to get excited, right? Thank you so much for having us over!

Anyways, I am so looking forward to the Tech-OSU game. My brother-in-law lives in Oklahoma and is a big OSU- OU fan. He will be in town next weekend to visit. He is already talking smack about the game. (He's just scared b/c he knows Tech is going to whoop up on them!)I hope all of you have a wonderful week. More to come later....
