38 and I feel GREAT!

What an awesome birthday I had this year! Jason and the girls surprised me with this adorable pink bike that I have been admiring for a while. Her name is Lulu. LOL! Jas did such a great job in hiding the bike. He hid the bike between the cars and told me that I had a flat tire. I am so gullible. I fall for his surprises every time! When I went to see my tire, I saw the bike and screamed. It was awesome! We went to church and then met my bestie and her fan at Ruby Tequilas for lunch.

I absolutely love the outfit that I am wearing. Lar and I went shopping for both of our birthday gifts, and she bought this for me. She is such a wonderful friend! I feel so lucky that I have been blessed with a best friend for 22 years. After lunch, Lar and I went to see "Snow White and the Huntsman." It was an awesome movie. We both really enjoyed it! Thank you for making my birthday so special, Lar! Love you!

When I got home from the movie, Jason and the girls had decorated the house with pink balloons, a sign, karaoke machine, snacks, and cupcakes. I was so surprised! The girls were so excited to throw me a party. They even picked out the yummy cupcake in the picture. I am so thankful for Jas, the girls, and our besties. It was probably the best birthday yet. I am 38 and feel great mentally, physically, and spiritually. I thank Jesus everyday for the many blessings that He has given me.

Hoop 55

Ky had a change this year. She is now playing basketball for the Hoop 55 organization. Former Lady Raider, Alesha Robertson, is her coach. I have seen so much improvement in her basketball since going Hoop. I am so proud of her! We love her new team!!! Here are some pics from some of the tournaments she has played in.

Easter 2012

Easter 2012 was awesome! This was the first time since I started loosing weight that I felt comfortable wearing a dress, much less a shorter dress. We had a wonderful weekend filled with an easter egg hunt, a great church service, and family time together! I was happy to celebrate our Lord!

Marleigh's PTA Program!

I cannot believe how fast Marleigh's kindergarten year flew by. Why is it that once they get into elementary school, it flashes before your eyes? She participated in the cutest program at the end of the year. I am so proud of my girl! She did great!!

My Fitness Pal!

My Fitness Pal has actually become my pal! LOL I have been on it for 130 days and have lost 35 pounds!! I am feeling so great! I am so thankful that my bestie introduced me to this awesome calorie counter. It has been a God send! The girls and I are now working out together so that we can all get into shape. We have made it 5 days so far. Looking forward to having more energy and looking more toned. Here are some pics of the girls down at the park that we walk/jog at. :-)

Goodbye LakeRidge!

WOW! It is hard to believe that seven years of working at LakeRidge has come to an end. I am going to miss all of the teachers, children, and parents so much! I made the decision about two years ago to pursue a career in teaching full-time. I am student teaching in the fall, and so it was time for me to say goodbye to LakeRidge. I will never forget all of the wonderful memories that I have made. I am looking forward to what God has in store for me. I know he will place me where He wants me to be. I am leaning on HIS promises. Here are some pics of a dinner that the teachers put together to honor Debbie and I. It was tons of fun!!

Dance Recital 2012

I cannot believe that this was Kylie's sixth dance recital and Marleigh's fourth. The girls were pros!! We didn't even get to go to recital practice because it was the same day as Jas' graduation. They did awesome! I am one proud mama!!! So thankful for both of these two. I am blessed!!!! I absolutely loved that their costumes were the same color. Red and Black at that! Love it!

My Handsome Graduate!

My handsome graduate!

I thought I would start with what has happened to us recently, and go backwards. On May19. 2012 my husband, Jason, graduated from Texas Tech University. We had a wonderful weekend. Nonna, Uncle J, and Bekah came in from Oklahoma. It was so nice to have them here to celebrate Jason's accomplishments. He graduated with a business management degree. I am so proud of him!!! He worked full-time while attending Tech. Now we are praying that the Lord will lead us in the right direction as to what job is best for him. I know God has great plans for our family!! So happy that my hubby is an official Red Raider alumni!

I'm back...I hope! LOL

Hi sweet blogging friends!

I cannot believe it has been two years since my last post. Jason says it is because twitter and facebook took over my life. LOL! He is probably right. I am going to try to post pics on here, primarily so that our family and friends can see what we have been up to. It has been a very busy two years!!! I hope I can start to update with pics soon!
