I had to show you guys what I found on my darling daughter's door this morning. Do you think she wants her sister to stay out of her room? Marleigh was not to thrilled to see this on Ky's door. I don't know if Kylie is 6 or 12. I had to laugh. Where do they learn these things? I guess I better teach her how to spell, "disturb," before she starts first grade. You gotta love her for trying!!! :)

Back in L-Town!

Just wanted to say that we are glad to be back in L-town. I bet you guys are wondering why I don't have pictures of Phoenix. I have come to realize that sometimes life throws you some bumps in the road, and you have to just go with the flow. We were not able to go to Phoenix last week. We decided to go with Nene to her house in Ruidoso, NM. It is so beautiful there. The girls really enjoyed themselves. I took some pics of the inside of their house. It will be so awesome to be able to take vacations up there. Here are some pics from our trip:

This picture makes me laugh because we went for a hike, and Marls was so scared of every insect that she was not excited to be out in the woods. She was watching out to make sure that a bee was not trying to sting her!

Uncle J and Bekah!

I have been wanting to update from the fourth, but our laptop was out of commission. Better late than never, right? We had a great visit with J and Bekah. We woke up bright and early on the fourth and headed down to the annual Fourth on Broadway parade. The girls had a blast! We found the perfect spot down at the entrance to Texas Tech. We saw horses, cheerleaders, soldiers, and even Elvis impersonators! We cooked out and watched fireworks later that evening. It was a fabulous weekend. Here are a few pics:

That's about all for now. The girls and I are heading to Phoenix next week for my aunt's graduation. She is receiving a doctorate in education. Water Bugs!

Happy summer everyone! I hope all of you are are having a relaxing one. I thought I would post these pictures that my friend Renee took of the girls at swimming lessons this year. Texas Tech has a wonderful swim program, and this year the girls got to use the new leisure pool on campus. Jason thought it reminded him of a Disney resort. The girls learned so much and had fun at the same time. Here are some pics of the girl's fun:
