Jones Family Christmas!

I cannot believe that Christmas came so quickly this year. It really snuck up on me. I have to admit that I was a kind-of a scrooge at the beginning of December. I was not ready for all of the hustle and bustle of the Holidays. I had to change my tune, when both my daughters told me, "it's Jesus' birthday mom!" They made me remember that Christmas is not only about shopping and finding the perfect gift, but remembering our Savior's birth.

For the past five years, my dad has displayed this awesome reminder on his lawn. He puts a manger up on the yard with baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and the Angel. He actually let the girls help him set it up this year. They loved it! I posted some pics below of the girls and the beautiful manger scene. Thank you for showing us what Christmas is all about, Papa!

We spent Christmas Eve at Nene and Papa's house. We had a great time. My brother and sister-in-law came with their kiddos. We ate and opened gifts. Thank you for everything, Mom and Dad!

Jas and I stayed up very late Christmas Eve. We had to prepare the house for Santa to come. He did come and the girls were so excited. Kylie kept running into our room (at 7:30 a.m.) saying, "Santa came!" I have to say that the Jones Fam had an awesome Christmas. We are looking forward to a great 2009 year!

Saying a sweet prayer

Ky was so excited about her Sharpay golf cart.

I just love the pics of the girls with your Dad's nativity scene! That is what Christmas is all about! Cass and Ky looked real cute together in the play shoulder to shoulder! We've got to get that one framed!
